8 3/4 to Dana 60
Well, I decided to save some money and build one myself, with help from a few friends. I got really good buy on this setup, I couldn't justify the price of new, especially factoring our currently weak Canadian dollar. As a bonus, the seller took a bunch of my 8.75 parts on trade, this greatly reduced the price.
1973 3/4 ton Dodge truck housing, factory 4.10. The tubes on this measure 3.123" in diameter.
Yukon Grizzly locker NOS
Moroso gold anodized rear cover
All brakes
Housing ends.
I have everything, a lot of it not pictured, except axles and axle bearings, which will be ordered from Dr. Diff. I borrowed an arbor, pucks for housing alignment during welding, and the case spreader. I'm looking forward to this build. Having fully rebuilt an 8.75 2 years ago, I am blown away at how much larger everything Dana is.
