360 oil pan

Hey guys,

I’ve got a 360 magnum in my 1971 Plymouth scamp. Looking to replace the oil pan as it’s been expoxied before on the bottom and appears to be seeping.

Was wondering if the generic LA 360 car pan would be fine or if I should try to find a baffled pan for it. Not quite sure of the options that are out there/which is best.

Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks

Hey Evan. I got tired of reading poor help replies. Having done this twice……

Get the oil pan of your choice. When your installing it, you’ll notice at the rear of the pan at the main cap isn’t a perfect seal and you’ll just need to apply of big goop glob of RTV to finish the seal.

Being that you’re getting a car pan to replace the truck pan, you’ll need a new pick up to screw onto the oil pump. If you’re going to do the Kevco pan, you might as well grab the pick up with it. I did. Works very well.

That’s it my friend! Motor on down the Hwy! Enjoy.
