Nothing is more annoying than searching the internet for a hour looking for an answer to a problem, and then finding the perfect thread but then the OP never follows up with the solution. So here is the solution to this thread for future surfers that may encounter this same scenario: I changed the master cylinder today and now all the brakes operate normally.
