The 1947 Dodge Build

The shifter I found over at the poly forum came bare with no buttons/bezel, backup light switch or mounting housing but did have the cables. So the hunt was on for something more complete that I could swap the cables to it. eBay to the rescue - scored a 64 Impérial shifter assembly with push buttons, light for the buttons, mounting housing, backup light switch and very nice bezel but no câbles. Spent about an hour or so and swapped the cables and their mounting brackets to the Imperial shifter. It was easy since the shifter mechanisms sre pretty much the same from about 61 or so through 64
