I am VERY glad that you and your car are all right. I had a friend who spent several years restoring a VW Bug to perfection. I was still in the Air Force at Little Rock AFB, so it must have been about 1988. On his VERY FIRST drive, some idiot ran a red light (or a stop sign, I don't remember) and T-boned him. He was OK, but the car was totally destroyed. The other guy had State Farm, and my friend had to fight to get a fair settlement. That is why, to this day, I do NOT like State Farm.
