best way to repair twin scoops

I would not use spot putty, after time it shrinks.
Just use a glaze of bondo and be done.
OK. I guess I could have communicated that a little better. I forgot about that spot putty that comes in a tube and does not require hardener. It has a strong lacquer smell to it. You are absolutely right; that stuff will shrink. I haven't used that stuff in 30 years. When I say spot/glazing putty, I meant the stuff that is like Bondo in that you add a hardener to it, and it is a little thinner than Bondo. It does not shrink. I guess it is technically called Polyester finishing putty. Thank you very much for pointing that out. I should have known better. I would not want to accidently give out bad information. This is the brand I use.
It is awesome. It spreads on super easily, and it is easy to sand and feather.
