Rubber tip on the brake rod

Spoiled!
Yeah, that may be true. I am
Not urban but not quite rural. I’m 10-15 minutes from the major auto parts chains.
When the wife and I were thinking of moving to Arizona, we wanted acreage. There places up north and west with that but yeah, you’re 25-30 minutes from grocery stores , gas stations and auto parts stores. That would take a lot of adjustment for me. I’ve always been a suburban dweller… never a city dude or country boy.

It definitely changes your perspective a bit! Suddenly $10-15 bucks for shipping seems like a steal when you compare it to what it'll cost in time and money to just pick something up yourself.

Not saying by any means I enjoy paying more to ship something than the thing itself costs, but, it certainly gives one a bit more understanding. To use DoctorDiff as an example, having something shipped from Montana to my doorstep for $15 suddenly seems down right reasonable when I think about how it would cost me that much in just fuel to go pick it up from the "local" parts house.

And it just changes my order usually, as Rani said unless it's something I need immediately I'll wait until I have a few more things to better fill up a flat rate box so it seems more reasonable. Or put a few more things I might need later anyway on the order so I already have stuff on hand for "next time". Can always use a few more axle gaskets and seals right?

We ran 8 ply truck tires with tubes.

Great for a derby! Not so great on the street unless you're driving a 1+ ton and need the rating.
