Yeah, I thought I had a mentor thing going with my brother in law who is 20 years younger.
He lost interest in the car. I bought him out and now the car will be finished and sold.
This other Duster is starting out in about the same level of neglect....Some rust, some body damage, it needs everything.
When I got it, it was complete with it's original 318 and 904. I worked a day's labor building a fence to get it.
I went back and forth on what engine to pick for it. Since it will be his first car, I think a 318 will be fine. I'm thinking dual exhaust for some rumble and a Thermoquad for that great buh-WAAAA. He wants a "Muscle Car" so at least it will sound like one.
