Front windshield

What car are you talking about? The 1967 Barracuda?

Who is using this terminology? I suspect they are both talking about the same thing, using different words.

On the windshield of a 1967 Barracuda fastback or notchback (convertibles are different), you have a rubber seal (also called a window gasket), and then you have the "chrome" lockstrip or molding, which is actually plastic, that snaps into a groove in the gasket. There are stainless steel pieces at each corner to cover up the joints. It doesn't matter what they call it — look at the pictures.
