Never said to make the LA into LS head, but the hp building process can be inspired by the basic premises of the LS, Hemi even Magnum, 340, 302 Boss etc.. Over larger cams and weak heads like 302,327,350 Chevy's , hp by higher % from cylinder head over cam.
