Hello everyone

Did you leave the key in "run" for a length of time with the engine stopped? May have overheated the ballast and blown it open, or also possible you damaged the coil.

Run some tests. You have a multimeter?

Clip to the coil + terminal and ground. Turn key to run. You want to see NOT full battery voltage but somewhere down around 6-8V or so. Crank the engine while watching the meter, and use the key to do so. Voltage should be at least 10.5 or better, and should be nearly the same as the battery, when cranking.
