What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?
Well I'm probably not the best one to answer this as "ride" is not something I pay attention to. For me, they ride just fine. If you've climbed over the cage and strapped yourself in, and light off the motor, you're in for a fun ride period! I've said before that this 408 is like a young teenage boy - just wants to go, go, go. It puts a big smile on my face every time I drive it (especially since now it's a toss-up if I get to drive as the wife loves to drive it on the street when we take it places!).
That being said, keep in mind that the car has "skinnies" up front - MT 26x7.5-15's. So carving canyons is out with this car. The only negative (if it is truly a negative) is you will hear the CalTrac bars slap (rattle?) one time on each shift, especially the 2-3 shift. (Trans has a RMVB so you have to shift it yourself.) But a quick slap and that's all I notice the CalTracs. I've never had them before but will say they made me a fan quickly after using them and making a few adjustments.
