Power Valve Selection

Do you have the list number from the choke horn? .

I will try to grab that tonight.

So since the intake is off and I got the information to the machine shop saturday night. I will follow up with them today to see what they think. But I did start looking into degreeing the cam. For reference here is the cam card:

the numbers I got from measuring degrees at .006 lift are as follows:

Intake opens 24 BTDC, Closes 66 ABDC
Exhaust opens 70 BBDC, Closes 30 ATDC

Now it appears that the opening and closing arent at the points they should be and the duration isnt what it should be either. Now, I believe to properly degree the cam I have to go off the centerline method Correct? so to get the centerline that is labeled on the cam card I have to take the duration at .006 (which is 274) and divide that by 2 and subtract the intake opening number: (274/2)-31=106.

Now the duration of the cam that is installed is 180+24+66=270. So following the same math my centerline is (270/2)-24=111. So that means I am either retarded or advanced by 5 degrees. am I correct in my line of thinking?

Now I know I need a new timing set with the ability to advance or retard the cam, but am I on the right track with degreeing the cam?
