Rod Bolts - Who Made These?

It's a Scat kit. I don't doubt that they make good bolts. I've just never heard of them and it's not what was advertised. Plus, I'd rather have the ARP rod bolts simply because they're pretty much the industry standard and I've only had great luck with them.

After looking more into it though, I seem to have a third issue with the assembly (so far). The balance sheet showed a rod weight that's about 40 grams off the actual weight of the rod, after weighing one. Not sure if that's significant or not, but it's something I need to look into more. I don't know enough about the internal balancing process. I may have them send me an unbalanced assembly and have a local shop balance it up for me instead. I'm not shooting for precision accuracy, but I just don't know what's an acceptable tolerance.

I've had good luck with them in the past, but I'm a little disappointed this time around. The kit should've had 20.5cc dished Icon pistons and came with 24.6cc dished RaceTec pistons, P1 rod bolts instead of ARP, and the balance accounted for rod weights that are 40g off the actual (and I only weighed one). Who knows what else is wrong that I don't even have the ability to check...
40 grams is significant for one rod! I’d send the whole mess back (their dime) and find another company that sells what they advertise.
