Looking for recommendations for Cuba Resort

Steve,
If you don't have your heart set on Cuba Puerto Vallarta is very accommodating to tourism. Red and I went there together, and I had been there several times before meeting her. Due to the difference in our dollars, it can be an inexpensive trip by comparison. Fishing there is top notch. You can stay in Banderos Bay and catch Dorado, Rooster fish etc or go out a bit further into the Pacific and catch big. We caught several sail fish and a 275 lb yellow fin Tuna. The Tuna was a battle as they are so tall and thin. When they get sideways to the boat it's like trying to reel in a freakin' Volkswagen. The food is top shelf and there is plenty to do. We took a jeep to the set of the original Arnold Swartzenegger Predator movie. There was no one there as it was off season so we had the whole bar to ourselves. There is a nice lagoon there as seen in the movie and the bar owner has a big hemp rope tied to that tree so you can swing out over the lagoon and swim there. Good snorkeling and scuba diving as well. If you ever decide to go let me know and Ill give you a list of all the spots we enjoyed. The Gonzales House and River Cafe were primo for food!
Best Regards,
Jeff and Karrin
