Clutch fork / adjustment rod / torque shaft....

As mentioned, Check engine location.
Check that the spring clip ends are seated in the groove of the nylon ball , not to the outside of the ball .
That may result in the misalignment you have.
As also mentioned, trans seems a bit to passenger side.
