If you want later model benefits, a late hemi swap will be MUCH easier. I don't know much about em but plenty here do.

Iirc the transmission bolt pattern is the same and all that.

The 3G Hemi is a great engine but hoooooo-leee crap, it isn't as cheap as you'd hope.
I looked at the costs to do an installation in a '70 Charger. The mounts and exhaust are the easy part. When you look at the front end accessory drive, the computer to run the EFI. the fuel system changes too...The swap can run $6000 IF you have a FREE engine.
The Coyote swap would be even more since so I suspect that very few people will have done this. There are clearance issues with exhaust, the entire front end of the engine, what transmission to use and how to not only mount it but to control it since every modern automatic is computer controlled.
The "dare to be different" crowd had been dealt a massive blow in terms of swapping in newer engines due to the complexity of fuel injection and ignition.
