putting a ford 5.0 in a 72 Dart

the main question you gotta ask yourself is how good can you weld??

If you are good at melting metal, then you should be good to go and i personally would like to see what you are proposing to do.

I used to be a diehard purist but the harsh reality is that in 2024, building a high power Mopar takes huge money and is real cookie cutter because everyone who can afford it is doing the same ol song and dance.

If you want to hot rod, you really gotta think outside the box and work with what is available in the age of 10 year and newer pick a part lots and the old stuff being pretty much GONE!. The good old days of 50 dollar 360s, 300 dollar 340s, and 400 dollar running 440s are just GONE!!

I have recently conceded to the fact that 8.8 rear end swaps are a superior option to high dollar and super rare original stuff in cars that i want to be cheap with and just drive.

Get it running with the engine of your choice and Hot rod on ....... welcome aboard.
Thank you
