73 E body front disc brakes conversion on A body. Where did I mess up?
I'm running a sway bar on my 67 with an E body swap that keeps the calipers on the front, so not sure why you can't? My car was that way when I bought it and I actually tried swapping the calipers to the rear because I preferred that idea for various reasons, but with the inlet ports facing toward the centerline of the axle and not toward the center of the car it made it more difficult to route brake lines, so I swapped them back. I know I probably could have gotten there by swapping to a banjo bolt, but I didn't want to get into it at the time. I originally thought I had F body brakes since several parts on my car were out of one when I bought it, but I later learned the F body brakes had the inlet directly behind the piston. I had bought replacement lines for them and when they wouldn't fit I learned I actually had the E body setup.
I know the sway bar to caliper clearance is really close, but it is in there. It's still a front mount sway bar though, not the later style through the K member if that makes any difference.
