Also, mopar guy or not, I'd get a friend, have him/ her press the pedal to your direction, get in, down, around, flashlight, and carefull examine all the linkage movement. Look for unwanted flexing, etc. There has been cases where EG the levers on the z bar have become cracked, or the tube itself, losing movement, as well as the ball studs/ brackets and frame attachment.
