So rant:
My primary care doctor sent me to a specialist to help determine the cause to a couple of my conditions I’ve been managing for two years. Mainly because the DoD wants to narrow the cause down as part of the medical evaluations I’m starting.
Anyway, go to the appointment, spent 30-45 minutes discussing everything and the doc goes “cause doesn’t matter, we don’t treat the underlying cause, we have to just treat the symptoms” then goes on to prescribe more meds…. Yeah needless to say, I’m looking for a new doctor.
This is a prime example as to why there’s an opioid crisis
