You are speaking from inexperience.

You have zero clue how much power you make and where you make it.

Most guys easily leave 20-30 hp on the table.

The time slip is only the end all when the dyno numbers and the time slip agree.
I don't see me ever spending the money and a day to dyno an engine, though never say never. As I stated, it's a great tool. I just know too many people that haven't made the dyno number match the ET slip when at the track. Then had to change the tune and sometimes components for real track times and then go faster.
