Looking for a 1971 225 engine & trans

Just curious why does it have to be a 1971 engine? They made them the same for eons, as was when I got it, you'd have been hard pressed to tell my 1974 version from a 71. Now though it has a later 70s peanut plug head and super 6 intake on it which weren't around yet in 71. And if it's ever been milled the numbers that prove "it's a 71" will have been wiped away anyway.
Anything 68-74 would be identical.
Older and you have the small pilot crank, newer ones have the peanut plug head, newer yet have the cast crank.
The only thing limiting yourself to "71 only" does is make it harder to find.
And on the trans.... It don't care whether it was column or console shifted.
