Exhaust tips identification please!!!!
An easy way to Identify them with a picture is . The height of the L bracket A-bodies are shorter. Also all a-bodies are the same length except for Cars with a rear valance and they have the hanger on the flat part of the tip.
Also all A-body Barracuda and 70 Darts are different between the two
Dodge B-bodies the Chargers are shorter in length , Again due to them having a rear valance and not a full bumper. Coronets are longer with a full bumper,
Plymouth 68-70 are eye shaped not box tips and are the same length as Coronet
The Dodge B-bodies are the same length as the Duster Demon. But the pipe Diameter is larger and the L bracket is taller. I used large diameter B-body tips on my Duster I just shortened the L bracket to A-body height. A lot of the new A-body after market tips you buy today have a tall L-bracket. No one ever shortens them so they hug the bumper like the originals. Last picture is a good example
