Solid Roller camshaft selection those of you running a 408 race application - lobe seperation

With flow gains thru .700 lift, I’m not seeing any issues with the lifts for the recommended cams.

Not to mention that with the less than ideal 59* lifter bank angle, plus what you lose in the lash, those cams would be lucky to see a net actual .650” valve lift.

I agree. The only limit is the 5/16 bolts holding the shafts down. I try and stay under .700 lift with those.

For 3/8 bolts you can get to .800 lift but at that point a Jesel or T&D are the better option.
