'65 Dart /6 A833 swap - clutch fork, input shaft, speedo gear, crossmember questions

Hello!

Getting ready to start an A833 OD swap into my '65 Dart 2dr /6. Ive compared the A833 to a spare 3spd tranny and bellhousing I have, and I have a few questions.

The input shaft (from the end of the bearing retainer to the end of the shaft) on the A833 is .200 shorter than the stock 3spd (see pics) All other dimensions match. Will the slightly shorter shaft create any problems?

The clutch fork for the stock 3spd uses a tab type pivot mount, while the A833 clutch fork uses a ball type pivot mount. Can I assume that I'll have to get a ball mounted clutch fork? If yes, anyone out there have one or know where to get one?

The tranny is from a '76 Volare. Is the speedometer cable mount/input the same as the Dart?

Is there a resource to figure out which speedometer gear I'll need in order to get a somewhat accurate speedometer reading?

Will I have to redrill holes in the crossmember, or fabricate a new crossmember?

Thanks...

I'm in the middle of a similar project. Mine is a swap over from a 904 to an A833, however my 833 is out of a 65 A body. The big dilemma for me was getting the right bellhousing. #2468433. I tried to adapt an aluminum bellhousing, but "no-way-Jose'" way too much needed modification. My application uses the same fork as the three speed and the input shaft of the 833 poses no problems. I'm waiting now for some new pressure plate bolts I ordered to install my Zoom scalloped, 10" clutch. 1965 Barracuda tricked out 225 /6.
