I truly felt the same way when General Motors came out with the turbo 4 in a full size 4 door Silverado. And you know I respect your opinion Mr. Rumblefish. Our daily drivers are G.M. all muscle cars MOPAR. Our old Ford farm truck that i was daily driving blew up and I used to be the service manager at the local GM dealership so I went to check out their trucks. The kid that detailed cars for me years ago was now the sales manager. He immediately put me in the new turbo 4. He was climbing an uphill battle as I would have never considered one. They let me drive it and keep it overnight as it was close to closing time. 80,000 miles later I'm glad I was able to get my bull head out of the way to buy this truck. I have had one service issue with it. (factory remote start) It gets excellent gas mileage, pulls good for what I need it for and it hauls ***. If I outlive this truck my next one will have a turbo 4. GO DRIVE ONE. If I was buying a 70 Cuda what engine would I want... 426 HEMI just because! but for my daily driver for Illinois winters and personal utility truck This turbo 4 is top shelf. Should they abolish a HEMI engine as an option...NO F&CKING WAY!
