Acceptable carbs for the street

The Carter and Edelbrock are dry flowed. I flow tested a 600 cfm AFB and it did just about dead bugs on exactly that.

Holley, as I understand it, wet flows there carbs.

Is there a difference somewhere in this?

IDK

Someone with a whole lot more experience and time than me should do a study/testing of wet vs dry, Carter vs Edelbrock vs Holley, 500 vs 600 vs 650 vs 750,... etc. Maybe it's been done and I'm just not aware of it? Probably deserves a thread of its own. Anyone?
