I just pulled mine. 727 column shift.
The z bar measures approx 8.5 inches end to end
If you have the correct parts, it helps to loosen the trans bracket for this bar to get it into place. These are the parts I used when converting from /6 to 340 / 727
Thank you, I have the correct parts as I stated in my original post. It is very tight with the torsion bar and headers in there, just trying to get advice form someone who has been there and done that.
