So we picked up a couple used wood stoves on the cheap. Now I gotta rebuild them. The steel aspect I got under control. The glass, not so much. Anybody ever tried to clean up smoked glass? And no it does not just wipe off. Am I better off just getting a piece cut?
Use wood ashes and water, like a paste and get to work. When i clean the baked on soot on my pellet stoves i dab a wet paper towel in the ashes, better than any store bought.
