318 Poly heads and stuff

My first car was a 66 Coronet poly. My dad bought it new. I still have it but in 1000 pieces. Maybe someday. I'm sure my fondness for the poly is more emotional than practical, but I still love 'em.

About 20 years ago I found a 65 Coronet convertible with the poly in it pretty local for sale. I bought it even though it was riddled with cancer. I ended up pulling the broken 727 and replacing it with a 66-later transmission. Drove it for a ciuple of years till it just wasn’t sale to drive anymore. That poly never missed a beat and was so smooth
