Used 318/340 4-speed cast iron bell housing, casting #2842887
I have for sale a 1968 A-Body, 318/340 4-speed cast iron bell housing. From what I discovered, this is a 1 year only piece but can be used on any 318/340 stick shift application. Casting # 2843887 with a casting date code K 1 7. (November 1, 1967?). The trans bearing retainer diameter hole measure 4.354” I would like to get $200.00 for it. The down side to this is that it’s very heavy so shipping would be super expensive so I would prefer a pickup or depending on location, I can meet part way for the cost of gas and any tolls.
