Even after doing that method, it's a good idea to go back and check the tappet lift numbers, in this case the 6 and 40 to get secondary assurance.

my apologies on how I described it in the first post.
And please bear with me on my next question.
When you say “6 and 40” , are you meaning the moment of lifter lift to open valve and the moment of lifter stopping or valve closed added to 180 which will equal 226 duration?
