If you had mentioned using max lift clearly in the first post, things go different. The .050 value is used plenty to get ICL. Tappet lift, either side of max lift.

Even after doing that method, it's a good idea to go back and check the tappet lift numbers, in this case the 6 and 40 to get secondary assurance.

When you say “6 and 40” , are you meaning the moment of lifter lift to open valve and the moment of lifter stopping or valve closed added to 180 which will equal 226 duration?
