Challenger non-rallye to rallye with Dakota Digital Instruments

For those who have changed from non-rallye to rallye instruments via the Dakota Digital package, I need some help.

I bought the Dakota Digital cluster for my 72 Challenger non-rallye to convert it to rallye instruments. I also bought the plastic bezel (2 piece) and the flat wood grained "plate". The plate does not appear to attach to anything so wondering if it's glued onto the bezel once the plate is gently bent to conform to the curves?
