Acceptable carbs for the street

Most folks who run 'dual' four barrels forget the squirters need to halved.
An engine will take the air flow it needs but getting it right 'off closed throttle' is tricky.

Setting up the pump jets is where the magic is, once you get into the mid range life gets easier.
They used to say don't over-carb, now its 'the bigger the better' it seems.

Most engines will run with a 600cfm carb, so two 600's would be fine.
I've used two 750 Competition carbs together and they was good.

I'm sure a pair of AFB 625's would work on the street.
