Just to follow up on the issues with the Holley pan and the suspension, it appears the Holley motor mounts put the crank centerline about 3/4" higher than stock. This means the suspension really can't touch the pan when using the Holley mounts.
I don't have a trans bolted up in these pictures but the motor should be close to where it will sit in the end. Plenty of room.

Not saying I like that they moved it up, but for now I am ok with the compromises.
