  1. Higher output alternator.
  2. Revised wiring to handle the load of the fans. (Each in the 10-30amp range IIRC)

This is for a mustang but you get the point.

  1. Thermostat switch
  2. A place on the manifold to put the thermostat switch
  3. Relays
  4. Or some form of fan controller
