Sometimes ya gotta just bite the bullet and buy a box of welding rod!
(Hint: I bought a big box of 2 1/2" EMT bends and fittings for a couple a bucks from an electrical contractor who was closing up shop...) :rolleyes:
oh make no mistake, as a younger man i've certainly wrangled baskets snakes and burned miles of welding wire in the name of getting it done on the cheap and nasty.
but now older and slightly wiser, i'd rather spend a few bucks more and not hate life. besides, if i ever sell a car, my name's on it and i have to protect what little reputation i've got! ;D
