That’s how I made my street t ram. Ordered a Chevy top from summit and bolted right on to my tr5. Don’t know if it’s still available
I believe for the street the smaller compact plenum is desirable. That higher height bloated plenum is something no other manufacturer copied. Well not like the TR5. Weiand has the boxy rectangular plenum which as a member here stated is better for race application. I've never run a TR5 . But I find that plenum looks hideous. Reminds me of canned food that has gone bad and is expanding the can it's inRespectfully, you'd be very likely hurting the performance of that intake if you made that change on just about every application.
