Replacement 68 340 four speed cams
Pretty funny. RRRs' 340 in Pettys, favorite NASCAR body and you guys can't believe it... When I lived in South Dakota, I'd take my 64 Barracuda 273, 4 speed car out into the country and wind it up to 140 mph every month. I did nor run recaps. The odometer was within a couple miles after 200 miles of interstate driving. That car would do 100 mph in 3rd gear. Not sure how fast his 73 Road runner was going, but I bet it was flying.
When I worked for Chrysler, our Florida State Highway Patrol C-Body cars would easily do over 140 mph with a simple jet change. They would flat out walk away from a helicopter.
