NSS Inline 2x4 Intake

Not only is the Indy crossram MW port but it's got a HUGE plenum. If you run it on anything under 500", I'd put some fillers in it. If you want standard ports and are willing to do the work the modman can be a nice upgrade over a single 4 even with AFB's on it. I was at PRI and spoke with Chris at length with modifying the core to improve the intake. He was on-board to work in cooperation with the project but, I'm not sure I want to redo that this moment mainly because I have a few things going already.

I have a standard port A&A Max Wedge intake on my 63 that I cut the top off of, filled all the corners in, did a lot of welding pieces inside, then welded the lid back on and finished it so it never looked cut apart. Now, it actually has some throttle response, but still probably doesn't perform, as well as, a ported Performer RPM would. At least it looks the part.

Just honestly can't get into the Mod Man design, as it looks like another attempt from Bradshaw that wasn't right from the start. I have a Mopar M1 tunnel ram that is a way better starting point in my opinion than a ModMan, but I have a soft spot for the look of the 440-I4-25 Cross Ram.

So long as the NSS rules never allow sheet metal intakes there will be a market for $1500 intakes. For me a standard port Indy Cross Ram yes, a ModMan no interest.
