Lightweight flywheel options and selection criteria.
My high school ride in 1973 was a '65 Malibu with a tunnel ram 301/4spd, Hapco B&B clutch, 4.88 rear gears. With an aluminum flywheel, it was almost impossible to launch that car without bog/spin. Not sure why it took me another 36 years to start putting screen door closers on my clutch pedal.
I'm all about bang for the buck. With that in mind, it's hard for a multi-purpose car to go wrong with a 20lb steel flywheel.
