can the color designating a read vs unread PM be made more deeper in color

I like the default red color scheme but the read vs unread messages in PMs is almost indistinguishable

(I tried the blue color scheme and its better but still not super noticeable. brown there is no visible difference)

Or maybe an icon of some sort to designate Read vs Unread

The old platform was very distinguishable.

I'm not color blind and this is across all my devices.

Blue arrows are Unread

Red arrows are Read
