Cast iron exhaust manifold cleaning
Nothing wrong with blasting but I wanted mine cleaned inside and out so I used diluted Kleen Strip phosphoric acid prep in a plastic tub. Soaked them until all the rust was gone then painted. I don’t know how they will stand up to heat. I was just storing them for later use. I plan to start with headers but I expect to get tired of the sound eventually. I too have a great respect for Por 15 from cleaning and coating inside motorcycle tanks.
