So sorry for what you guys are going through. My wife and I were talking about how this thing affects so many different things.
You lose your home. What type of insurance coverage you have. The cost to rebuild. Areas becoming too expensive to live in. Temporary housing.
Schools for your kids. Jobs etc... It certainly makes one look at their own lives and hope we are prepared when a tragic event occurs.
