360 main cap questions

I have 360 block I'm doing for a new race motor. Got the lifter bores bushed and sonic checked the block and bore came out great. So now I was checking over the main caps and 1 and 5 are good and go in.the register "normal". Has about 2 thou interference with a set of calipers. 2,3 and 4 csps aren't as tight fitting in the register more like .0005-.001 interference. I can take the cap and push it in by hand. I did take a indicator with just the cap sitting in the register and moved it side to side and got no movement. What's your thoughts? I donhave a brand new set of MP 4 bolt caps i can cut down as a standard 2 bolt cap?
