So once upon a time back when I had a real job, we all carried lariats in our trucks for the occasional run away etc. Neighboring farm raised goats. They had a mass escape so me and a couple of buddies were wrangling the goats that were wrecking havoc on our farm. I called Jodi and asked her to bring me a few extension cords out to our finishing pen. For you City folks, that is where we segregate prize horses/cows that our kids show at 4h etc. it has fans, brush’s combs etc to “finish” the coats prior to shows. Well anyway the goats were a bit uncooperative and I needed my rope back so I tied the extension cords around the goats horns then to the pen with the extension cord! Those guys were class one escape artists! Lasted just long enough to get owner and his dogs and trailer over. Jodi just shook her head!
