How about pics of car you got your first drivers license in.

I posted the cars I drove in post #4, but recently was reminded that when I wanted to get a motorcycle license in Atlanta, Georgia in the early nineties, I had to take a driving test on a motorcycle. (Didn't have to do that in Florida when I had one earlier.) I drove a 1978 Honda CB750 that my wife had picked up for $50 at an estate sale in SE Georgia with a few parts missing. I found the parts, cleaned the bike up, replaced the rusted out original exhaust with a Kerker header and my motorcycle mechanic friend got a set of 1970 carbs for it, along with some good rear shocks. Added K&N air filters. Otherwise was stock. Only had 14,000 miles on it, ran great. I sold it in 1995 to the guy who built my garage when I moved to Florida. He was a hard partying kind of guy, dropped it a few times, and pretty much ruined it. Sad story.

Driving test was something else. At first, I was trying to take it easy, acting like a responsible driver. The examiner said, no, show me a drag strip type start, so I revved it up, dumped the clutch and brought the front end up - behavior that would have got me a ticket if I had done that in public. But I guess I did show that I was able to control it. I passed the test.

PS: the 67 Barracuda is the same one I still own today, and still has a trailer hitch on it.
