64 And 65 Valiant And Barracuda Front Valance Panels
Valiant and Barracuda valences are different. Valiant has parking lights inside the valence opening. Barracuda opening is partially filled (see the one for sale referenced in post #15). Originally, the filled area was painted black and was not very noticeable, but most today are just painted all body color.
Valiant valences will fit a Barracuda. I have one on mine, because they used to be more readily available than Barracuda valences. Mine was NOS. There are two tabs for the parking lights that I just folded down out of the way.
I've been through 4-5 of these valences in the 56 years I've owned the car. They will dent if you just look at them hard. My sister crunched one of them driving over a parking curb stop. When she backed up, one of the iron locating stakes caught on the lower end of the valence and bent the you-know-what out of it. The other ones we won't talk about.
New ones from the factory were already NLA by the mid-70s.
