Your favorite road trip car ?

I've had 3 Ford Expeditions, 2002, 2003, and 2007 model years, all Eddie Bauer trim levels, by far the most comfortable road trip vehicles I've ever owned. While they weren't the most economical, I could drive 12+ hours and not even feel tired. The 2007 had a cold air kit and headers installed by the previous owner, and the 6 speed automatic transmission made it capable of about 19 mpg cruising at about 70 mph.

Expedition for long distance 'just wanna get there' trips, but for a fun road trip it's a toss up between the 2011 Camaro SS and the 2013 Mustang GT that I had. Both were really comfortable and lots of power, modest size trunks and similar fuel consumption. Camaro's best was just shy 30 mpg and the Mustang was capable of a little over 33. Both were great handling cars with a slight edge to the Camaro, but definitely both fun cars to hit the road in.
